Morning Arrival
Students need to learn the importance of regular school attendance and reporting to school on time. Any student arriving to school after the start time of their grade level, must report to the office to be signed in and receive a tardy pass.
Students may be dropped off in front of the school (please do not exit your vehicle in the drop off lane) or you may park and walk your child to the school. Visitors to the school must not park in staff parking and should utilize visitor parking.
Supervision starting at 7:40 a.m. is provided for those students who wish to have breakfast at school. Students should report directly to the cafeteria.
Students will be picked up in the cafeteria by their teachers. Kindergarten and 1st Grade will be picked up in the cafeteria at 8:15 am, 2nd-5th grade will be picked up at 8:25 am.
Dismissal:
All students will be dismissed through the front doors of the building. Students must leave the school grounds immediately after dismissal. Parents/guardians who pick up their children must do so promptly by 1:50 p.m. and/or 3:05 p.m.
After dismissal, there is no adult supervision for students. Children in Pre-K -1st grade who are dismissed 1:50 p.m. cannot be kept in classrooms or in the Main Office until older siblings are dismissed at 3:05 p.m. The After School Care program’s “Story Hour” is especially designed for students in Pre-K through 1st grade who only require supervision from 1:50- 3:05 p.m. Please contact the After School Care office for more information.
Rainy Day Procedures
Pre-K and Kindergarten students are to be picked up in their classrooms.
1st grade students will be dismissed from the cafeteria
2nd grade will be dismissed in the 2nd grade wing
3rd grade will be dismissed from the cafeteria
4th grade will be dismissed outside of the cafeteria
5th grade will be dismissed in the front of the media center.
Bus students will remain in the Pre-K hallway until their bus arrives
