We are excited to announce that we will be offering the following clubs through our community school at Zora Neale Hurston Elementary. The clubs (2nd-5th grade) will meet on different days of the week from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. For safety, all students will be escorted out at 4:15 p.m. Parents must be ready to pick up students at that time. For students who usually ride the bus, transportation must be provided by the parent/guardian on the days the clubs meet—no bus service will be provided by the school. Parents will be notified of any cancellations as needed. A fee of $30 will be charged every nine weeks per club chosen. In addition, the students may be asked to purchase costumes and materials throughout the year. Students must maintain the following grades in order to participate: Academics A, B or C, Effort 1 or 2, Conduct A or B. Additionally, participating students must follow the rules and be willing to work together as a team. If grades or conduct become a problem, the student will not be able to participate. All interested students must have parent/guardian sign the permission slip in order to attend. We would like to thank you in advance for all your support and encouragement.
